Project
In this day care project Intelligent Design needed to design a facility that is appropriately oriented towards child development environment, and aesthetically pleasing and functional design. It also needed to consider different spaces usage that will accommodate children in different age group, from infancy to 12 years of age. In order to ensure that the project is in full compliance with building codes and regulations, Intelligent Design created a floor layout that allows free movement of individuals from one room into the next.
Another important element in establishing an environment that is pleasing and functional was the selection of material, texture, color and lighting. It is not only plays an important role in creating an atmosphere that is cozy, comfortable, cuddly and home like. But it also helps to created a dynamic environment allowing children who using the space to enhance their learning and exercise and their own creativity.
